Accelerated FET - TRUCK
- This is a one-day accelerated class designed to introduce truck technicians to the fundamentals of electrical diagnostics, circuit analysis, and Voltmeter Troubleshooting TESlite Voltmeter leads. The 8-hour class is very intense, and students should bring digital voltmeters and schematics for the vehicles they work on. Class will include a large hands-on component, and all students will receive a copy of the Fundamental Electrical Troubleshooting shopbook, and one set of TESlite Voltmeter Leads.

Accelerated FET - CONCRETE
- This is a one-day accelerated class designed specifically to introduce CONCRETE truck technicians to the fundamentals of electrical diagnostics, circuit analysis, and Voltmeter Troubleshooting TESlite Voltmeter leads. The 8-hour class is very intense, is focused on the problems of mixer and pump trucks, and students should bring digital voltmeters and schematics for the vehicles they work on. Class will include a large hands-on component, and all students will receive a copy of the Fundamental Electrical Troubleshooting shopbook, and one set of TESlite Voltmeter Leads.

Fundamental Electrical Troubleshooting
- FET is a fully-integrated, hands-on electrical troubleshooting class designed specifically for mechanics who work on heavy trucks and heavy equipment. This class has been taught to CAT, John Deere, Kenworth, Freightliner, VOLVO, Mack, Komatsu and all other manufacturer dealers, and corporate trainers from CAT, John Deere, Volvo and KW.

Electric Power Generation (EPG)
- EPG is a class specifically designed to offer working technicians with a lot of engine experience and a little electrical experience a chance to see how a generator really works. A very hands-on class, technicians finally get to see how a generator really works.

PLC Operation and Troubleshooting (Your Location Only)
- PLC Ops and Troubleshooting is a class designed to teach all of the basic concepts of what a PLC is, how it works, and how to diagnose problems. Schematic reading is emphasized, and the customer MUST provide both a representative machine or system (asphalt plant) AND the full schematic for the system(s). Additionally, having the ladder logic is also a plus because it allows for a deeper and more meaningful discussion and explanations of how the system works.
-
Theory of Hybrids
- Topics include generator theory, voltage regulation, 3-phase AC power, battery theory and testing, meter and schematic reading (including MEGGERS) and other basic concepts needed to understand these newer systems.
-
Advanced Electrical Troubleshooting
- Advanced Electrical Troubleshooting (AET) is a 3-day class designed to give techs who've completed the FET class a chance to expand their abilities through more complex problems. AET is NOT a "high-tech" class; rather than focusing on newer electronics, AET focuses on the mental aspects of troubleshooting. Learning how to manage the troubleshooting process is s important as knowing how to read a meter.

Customized Factory/Manufacturer Training — FET
- (2 to 5 days) We are able to create and present a training class specific to your needs, designed around your requirements. Examples are Kress Carrier Coal Haul Truck, LeTourneu Electric Loader, EZ Miner, Manitowoc Crane, and others. These classes are designed to provide a more detailed exposure to your equipment than a typical factory class taught by engineers can provide. Technicians need more practical lessons than are usually available, and if the company requests, we can include equipment specific training in the FET class. This type of training is typically used by companies with unique or unusual equipment that has electronic, multiplexed, or PLC control systems.
